China Losing Its Reputation as the Source for Low Cost Manufacturing

US companies have always equated the words “made in China” with low cost global sourcing.  However, recent developments, including a series of strikes and an unstable exchange rate, have prompted many companies to begin moving their manufacturing centers away from China.  Many other countries, such as Vietnam, are still ideal candidates for global sourcing.  As China manufacturers are becoming less and less desirable to US companies, Vietnam manufacturers are in high demand.  Asia sourcing agents with an in-depth understanding of Vietnam manufacturing, such as Q International, Inc., are moving to the forefront as global sourcing moves away from China and increases in countries such as Vietnam.
